Jesus in my Heart. . .

Tonight, April 9th, I asked Jesus into my heart. I wanted to do this because I love Jesus and want to live with Him forever. I would love for each of you to send me your favorite verses. Would you please do that?

One of my favorite Bible stories is in I Kings - Naboth's vineyard. Read it sometime and tell me what you think about it.

"Smile"

If you ever have the time you should read the book "SMILE" it's about a girl who's going into middle school and the a few days before 6Th grade she knocks her two front teeth out which are permanent and it's about all the drama of braces and having fake teeth. It's a graphic novel by Raina Telegimier I THINK that Ed might like it. (I read it in 3 hours)

Basketball

My friends parents made a basketball camp and it's 8 weeks long were on our 7th week and so far we've lost every week, but last week we lost by two points . I shot 10 out of the 14 points (my grandma's calling me "Mrs.Big stuff") and that sort of fits I hope we can win the championship game . I believe that if I set my heart to it I can win it!

My basket ball season

The 2009-10 season for my middle school team was a huge success. Our team won league by 40 points and won our 9th straight league title. In the whole year i got to play the most because I started B-team and came off the bench in A-team a lot. Over the course of the year I scored the third most points with 78.

The Shadow Returns!

This is SHADOW! Today we got him from a house by Horn Creek. When we got into the pen he ran right past my feet and I liked him from the start. He's the runt of the family and is the most nervous one. He loves to stick his head in my arm pit and lay there.I made him a temporary cage with two cardboard boxes and cut a door in the middle. I can't wait for him to be full grown and not as nervous.

My Rabbit, Thumper

My rabbit, Thumper is one month old. Today, October 7th, I picked her out. Really she picked me out. Because she came to my feet and then ran off to hide behind her dad. She has two brown streaks on her back and one black dot in the middle. Her ears are brown too. She has a black patch around one eye. I was planning to name my rabbit Thumper, and then I found out that was her dad's name. So she inherited her dad's name. I love to snuggle with her. When I hold her, she puts her chin on my elbow. I like to pet her ears. Her fur is so soft. I love Thumper!

My Rabbit, Patches

This is my rabbit named Patches. It is really cute!! We picked her up today. I picked her out of seven rabbits. I love her. I love holding and snuggling her. Right now she is living in a cardboard box in our mudroom. We are going to build a hutch with my dad on Friday.

My Summer by Tommi

Well, there are lots of words I can say about my summer, but I will only say 5 things: FUN, ADVENTUROUS, EXCITING, AWESOME, HOT! I loved seeing all my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandma and grandpa. I miss you all very very much especially Toby, Kai, Elly, Finn, Stella and their parents. I really miss papa's Mokie stories at night and grandma talking to me while she's cooking in the kitchen. I'm bummed that I didn't get to fishing with Papa and I didn't get to have a tea party with Grandma.

Love,
Tommi Ann

Happy Birthday, Papa!! by Levi

This is me and Stella with our Papa. He loves to read to us. I love my Papa. . .
This is me getting the weeds out of my Papa and Grandma's garden. My Papa has a beautiful garden. I love playing in it and helping him with the garden.

This is my Papa telling us a Mokie story. We are sleeping on his deck. Me, Ty, Tommi and Uncle Ed are sleeping. There were lots of fireworks that night. I love my Papa's stories!

This is me and Papa at SunRiver. I love to go fishing with Papa. He is really good at teaching me to fish. I still need some help. Maybe we can go again next summer. One time I went fishing with my dad and I thought I wouldn't need his help, but I did because my string kept getting stuck in a tree. Happy Birthday, Papa!! I love you!

Happy B-day Papa By Tyler

The reasons I love Papa: 1) he's the most caring person you will ever meet in your life. 2) I love hanging out with him and he will always put aside things for me. 3) he's an awesome golf partner!
Papa is always there when you need him and he loves hanging out with me because he loves me not just because he has to.
I hope you have a great b-day, wish you could come to Colorado with grandma too.

School Days. . . by Levi

This is my teacher, Ms. Bowers. She is very good. I love her a lot! This picture was taken at my classroom before our Christmas concert. My "teddy dot" card is right there (behind and to the left of me).

This is our gym. I got an award in the pride assembly. I love Kindergarten. I am learning about volcanoes, telling time, learning to read and write. I write in my journal. My last story was about a lion in the forest. On learning time, I know o'clocks and thirties. My favorite thing is PE with Coach T. We have done scooter soccer, hockey and jump rope. I also love Ms. Baum. She is my music teacher. I love to see my mom and dad at school.

Optimist Brain Bowl

Last Friday is where the journey began. My Knowledge bowl team( Michael ,Madeleine , and Cloud) and the 8th grade team got into the school suburban and headed for Denver where we'd spend the night and go to compete the next day. when we walked in to the opening ceremony I was amazed to see how many people were there. our first match was against a school in Colorado Springs. We won by two. Who went on two the finals was determined by the points you score in for rounds plus a written test. After our first round victory we headed to the cafeteria to take our written test and it turns out that we only missed one question on a forty point test. The round after that one was our first taste of defeat. long story short we lost by 7, but it was almost a good comeback. We were down by 12 at one point and closed the gap to 3, then they exploded and got the final for questions. We won the next one by 4 and then faced Littleton, they were undefeated coming and trust me they kept that title easily. In fifteen question it was 12 to 3 them. We kept getting clobbered for about 6 more questions. Then and there it was 14 to 7. We made the best almost comeback of the century and ended up losing by 4. It turns out that we didn' make the finals we got tenth place and were seven points from the finals.

The Fort. . . back in the day. . .by Levi

Today, Tommi and I played outside ALL day! We built walls on our fort with sticks and wood we got from the forest. We dragged it for like five miles! (Tommi is disagreeing with the distance)
This is our campfire. We pretended like we were olden day people. That's why the title is called "back in the day".

This is another picture of the wall we built. It really helped keep the wind out. We were so snug and warm in our fort!
This is the rest of our fort. The top is where I go hunting. We got a lot of meat. It was very windy today.

This is our whole fort. It is very old. We built it one evening when my mom was working at Sangrita. My dad helped us. All we did today was fence the bottom. We won't fence the top. Look closely, the big pieces of wood are plywood. Tommi and I tried to build another fort out of that but it didn't work so we used it for a wall on this fort. We had to saw the piece closest to the tree.

This is the BEST fort. The wind will probably knock the stuff down, but , Oh well, we can fix it! It was very cold outside but we had a great day! When we got hungry, we went to the store. The store is actually our house. It was a great day, but now me and Tommi are REALLY tired. The End.

Riding Lessons by Tommi

I love horses! My parents bought me horse riding lessons. This is the ranch where I ride.

This is my horse, Tom-Tom and Belle, my horse riding teacher.

This is me on Tom-Tom, Belle's horse is Ceasar. This is the arena where I ride.

I am riding Tom-Tom. I am trying to make the horse trot.

Tom- Tom is a big horse, but I am not afraid. His nickname is the Abominable Snowman because he is big, white and gentle.Leading Tom-Tom out of the arena for a ride through the pasture.
This is us riding in the pasture. Isn't it beautiful here?

A very long day by Ty

Yesterday was a very long day, 9 to 5 to be exact. My dad and I had two installs for the Internet business. First we had to go to Maytag ranch. My dad thought that it would be a piece of cake because it was basically already set up, we just needed to change some stuff around. That one was really fast so we finished up and headed for the second install but the people weren't home. My dad and I sat in the truck for awhile because every other place we'd been to in that area usually had vicious dogs. He then decided that we should go to town and install Internet at one of my teacher's house. If there's any thing worse than going to a stranger's house it's having to work in front of your teacher. It took two and a half hours but we finally finished and headed home for dinner.
