"Smile"

If you ever have the time you should read the book "SMILE" it's about a girl who's going into middle school and the a few days before 6Th grade she knocks her two front teeth out which are permanent and it's about all the drama of braces and having fake teeth. It's a graphic novel by Raina Telegimier I THINK that Ed might like it. (I read it in 3 hours)

Basketball

My friends parents made a basketball camp and it's 8 weeks long were on our 7th week and so far we've lost every week, but last week we lost by two points . I shot 10 out of the 14 points (my grandma's calling me "Mrs.Big stuff") and that sort of fits I hope we can win the championship game . I believe that if I set my heart to it I can win it!

My Rabbit, Thumper

My rabbit, Thumper is one month old. Today, October 7th, I picked her out. Really she picked me out. Because she came to my feet and then ran off to hide behind her dad. She has two brown streaks on her back and one black dot in the middle. Her ears are brown too. She has a black patch around one eye. I was planning to name my rabbit Thumper, and then I found out that was her dad's name. So she inherited her dad's name. I love to snuggle with her. When I hold her, she puts her chin on my elbow. I like to pet her ears. Her fur is so soft. I love Thumper!

The Fort. . . back in the day. . .by Levi

Today, Tommi and I played outside ALL day! We built walls on our fort with sticks and wood we got from the forest. We dragged it for like five miles! (Tommi is disagreeing with the distance)
This is our campfire. We pretended like we were olden day people. That's why the title is called "back in the day".

This is another picture of the wall we built. It really helped keep the wind out. We were so snug and warm in our fort!
This is the rest of our fort. The top is where I go hunting. We got a lot of meat. It was very windy today.

This is our whole fort. It is very old. We built it one evening when my mom was working at Sangrita. My dad helped us. All we did today was fence the bottom. We won't fence the top. Look closely, the big pieces of wood are plywood. Tommi and I tried to build another fort out of that but it didn't work so we used it for a wall on this fort. We had to saw the piece closest to the tree.

This is the BEST fort. The wind will probably knock the stuff down, but , Oh well, we can fix it! It was very cold outside but we had a great day! When we got hungry, we went to the store. The store is actually our house. It was a great day, but now me and Tommi are REALLY tired. The End.

Riding Lessons by Tommi

I love horses! My parents bought me horse riding lessons. This is the ranch where I ride.

This is my horse, Tom-Tom and Belle, my horse riding teacher.

This is me on Tom-Tom, Belle's horse is Ceasar. This is the arena where I ride.

I am riding Tom-Tom. I am trying to make the horse trot.

Tom- Tom is a big horse, but I am not afraid. His nickname is the Abominable Snowman because he is big, white and gentle.Leading Tom-Tom out of the arena for a ride through the pasture.
This is us riding in the pasture. Isn't it beautiful here?

The Sleigh Ride. . . by Tommi

About a year ago we went on a sleigh ride at the Amish's house. The Amish raise horses and sell them. My favorite horse was a Percheron. He was the biggest horse I've ever seen. The sleigh ride was so fun. We went through the pasture and fields, we saw all the other horses. We went through their house it was powered by gas lamps and they're not allowed to drive cars so they drive buggies pulled by a horse. Look at all my cool pictures!
