A very long day by Ty

Yesterday was a very long day, 9 to 5 to be exact. My dad and I had two installs for the Internet business. First we had to go to Maytag ranch. My dad thought that it would be a piece of cake because it was basically already set up, we just needed to change some stuff around. That one was really fast so we finished up and headed for the second install but the people weren't home. My dad and I sat in the truck for awhile because every other place we'd been to in that area usually had vicious dogs. He then decided that we should go to town and install Internet at one of my teacher's house. If there's any thing worse than going to a stranger's house it's having to work in front of your teacher. It took two and a half hours but we finally finished and headed home for dinner.

One afternoon, while my mom was exercising, we made her lunch. I made the fruit salad with Ty, Tommi made crackers drizzled with honey and bananas with orange zest, and Ty made a green salad with eggs. She was so surprised!! We also cleaned the kitchen when we were done. Mom decided we should cook dinner one night. Here are some pictures:

X Games

Winter X Games, they come once a year and are amazing. My favorite events include: Ski big air where Simon Dumont did a double front flip superman. Snowmobile best trick is awesome. Levi LaValle pulled a double backflip but totally biffed the landing. The sad thing is that it was only two years after Travis Pastrana did one a dirt bike. Superpipe is also really cool. Shaun White came from last place and won back to back gold medals,the first ever.

Rafting Trip by Levi

This is my Papa and Grandma. We are about to go rafting and this is our car with all the rafts on top. I love to go to this place where we go rafting. I like it because it is not too deep and it is very fun to swim in the water!

The great thing is that no sharks live in this water so you can swim whenever you want. And. . .next time we go back to SunRiver we can all raft together and live in the same house.

And it is very fun in SunRiver. You can also go biking on the bike trails. You can ride your bikes to the park, we like to live in a house that is close to the park. Our other house was a long way from the park and we got exhausted trying to get there.

Stubby by Tommi

Today I went to the Mathis' house and ate lunch and played with their two dogs and two huge cats. One of their cats weighs 18 pounds and is almost bigger than Stubby which is a Welsh Corgi who loves me. I would sit down and he would come put his head on my lap and I would pet him but then I got hair everywhere on me, but he still is the sweetest dog Ive ever seen. I love him so much!

About Our Blog Title

We named our blog Lady Bug Frying on a Sidewalk because we like the song. It is by Go Fish--a Christian band that we like. A boy's little brother was outside playing with a ladybug in the sun with a magnifying glass. Get the picture? This is another song we like by that band.

My Cousins and I . . . by Levi

Stella and I are cousins and friends. We love to play together. I love Stella very much and she is very cute. We like to play house - she loves baby dolls so much!


This is Finn. I love to play with him. He is very funny. He is big. . .
This is Kai. He likes to walk around furniture. I love to play with him. He is a very fun cousin.

This is my cousin Elly. I love to help take care of her because I LOVE babies. Elly and my Aunt Emily came with us on vacation. I got to help give Elly her bath.

The Sleigh Ride. . . by Tommi

About a year ago we went on a sleigh ride at the Amish's house. The Amish raise horses and sell them. My favorite horse was a Percheron. He was the biggest horse I've ever seen. The sleigh ride was so fun. We went through the pasture and fields, we saw all the other horses. We went through their house it was powered by gas lamps and they're not allowed to drive cars so they drive buggies pulled by a horse. Look at all my cool pictures!
